This video will teach you how to use Superimpose. The main goal is to show you how to superimpose something. In this case, I made it look like The Weeknd pulled up to Bath and Body Works.

Below, I have attached the Closed Captioning for this video in case it does not work on YouTube.

Hi guys so today I am going to teach you how to use superimpose.

I have had the app since I was about 13 and I am nearly 21 so I definitely have had it for a while, I know how to use superimpose.

And you see this is the main goal, this is what we want to make.

So we are going to go ahead and delete current project because I did this earlier just to show you guys what it would look like.

But as you see we are in the double rectangle and we are going to go ahead and add the background.

Click on photos and it will pull this up.

So we want to go ahead and click on the bath and body works background

And then you want to hit the checkmark

Now I personally really like – I work at Bath and Body Works and I love The Weeknd so I just wanted to add the two together because I thought it would be fun for this.

But to add The Weeknd into this we are going to go ahead and hit those double rectangles again, add the foreground. Hit photos, and then delete it.

Perfect.

See, pulls up great.

Checkmark.

And we are going to hit transform in order to move him down.

Alright, so once you get him here, you are going to go ahead and hit mask.

That is the middle.

And then you are going to hit the masking tool.

The first one we really are going to want is going to be the good old magic wand-looking item and we are going to go to the settings right next to it.

Now, the threshold is down a little bit too far from earlier, I prefer it to be around 10 but if you cannot get it to a perfect 10 that is fine because I usually can’t either, so 10.3 it will be.

Then we are going to go ahead and start but as you can see that is WAY too much because now his face is missing.

We are going to erase it by hitting the undo button with is the left arrow with the eraser right on it.

Then it goes back to that so we are going to hit settings again.

Go back down.

Start masking once more.

Now you see it is easy going and clicking, not doing too much.

Just enough.

Now you see his face is a little bit gone, so we are going to go ahead and mask tool, hit the good old eraser.

I always just hit okay.

See back to normal.

Like it never even happened.

Go back to that magic wand and just keep slowly erasing.

Now, once it gets here it starts to get tedious.

We are going to go to mask again and hit the good old paintbrush.

You can see in the top left corner there is a big square.

This is good for when you get into these tight little crevices just so you can see exactly what you are doing instead of looking at the exact screen.

It is also helpful because sometimes I am like “my finger is in the way how am I supposed to see around my finger” and this is just a great way to see around your finger.

Alright, we are going to pull out the masking wand after this section again.

Go below the threshold, 3.4 perfect.

Go right back to the paintbrush.

Now for the arm, we are going to use the good old magic wand just to get these little spots and lines touched up, we are going to need the paintbrush though.

Pull out the magic wand again.

Switch back to the paintbrush.

So at this point, we look pretty finished and we are going to go ahead and go back to layers to make sure we are nice and good.

Hit that rectangle with an arrow and hit save.

And we should be all set.

Perfect, look at that.

All set, all done.
